The Magnolia neighborhood is situated between Highway 55 and W Medicine Lake Drive off of 18th Ave N and Evergreen Lane in southeast Plymouth. Magnolia is comprised of a mixture of townhomes and single-family houses which offer convenience to Medicine Lake and easy-access to highway systems. Within the neighborhood, there are nearly 30 townhome units and approximately 100 homes ranging in price from $200,000 to $700,000. Magnolia is an excellent neighborhood featuring great homes for sale, family friendly community, and convenient location.

Residents of Magnolia enjoy numerous  recreational amenities nearby, including Medicine Lake, West Medicine Lake Park, French Regional Park, Rockford Road Plaza, and Rockridge Plaza. One of the top amenities in the area is West Medicine Lake Road, which offers a beach, boat launch, sand volleyball court, basketball court, playground, and trails. Rockford Road Plaza and Rockridge Center are also nearby and offer some of the top shopping and dining options in the area.

Independent School District 284, also known as Wayzata Public Schools, serves the community of Magnolia. Wayzata Public Schools serves over 11,000 students in grades K-12 and seeks to inspire students to succeed. One excellent school in the area is Wayzata East Middle School where dedicated teachers are committed to prepare students to excel. Wayzata East serves 700 students with a student/teacher ratio of 14.2. Students at Wayzata East Middle take engineering, Spanish, Technology and Design, and art. Other schools in the area include Sunset Hill Elementary, Birchview Elementary, Wayzata High School, and Fourth Baptist Christian School.
